Shildon Station (Shildon)

Shildon Station is the ralway station serving the Victorian railway town of Shildon in County Durham.

It is adjacent to the Loco-Motion museum.

The first steam trains to carry both freight and passengers ran from Shildon.

Trains come from Darlington by way of North Road, Heighington and Newton Aycliffe.

They continue to Bishop Auckland.
