Clock Tower (Rugby)
The Clock Tower is an attractive structure in the centre of Rugby.
It stands by the main road at the head of the old Market Place, which is now pedestrianised, close to the parish church and even closer to one of the entrances to an attractive indoor shopping centre.
The Clock Tower was designed to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Queen Victoria in 1887, but it was not completed until 1889, as much of the available funds had been used for feasts and drinking to celebrate the Jubilee.
The Clock Tower is used as the starting point for Guided Walks led by Blue Badge Guide Colin Crosby.
