Gunwharf Quays (Portsmouth)
Gunwharf Quays is the name of a recently developed shopping centre in the old maritime city of Portsmouth.
The entrance is off Gunwharf Road, close to The Hard Interchange.
Until a few years ago, the area was off limits to all but naval personnel, being the Royal Navy establishment H. M. S. Vernon.
Today, the area has a great number of High Street and upmarket shops, especially fashion shops, and is marvellously breezily situated beside Portsmouth Harbour.
The iconic Spinnaker Tower is situated within Gunwharf Quays.
