Plymouth Dome (Plymouth)

Plymouth Dome is a popular modern attraction in the historic maritime city of Plymouth.

It is situated on the famous Plymouth Hoe, where Francis Drake is said to have played bowls while the Spanish Armada approached.

The Dome uses modern display techniques to recreate Plymouth`s past, including the Elizabethan harbour and the devastation caused in the World War Two bombing.

There is even a virtual Eddystone Lighthouse.
