Pembroke College (Oxford)
Pembroke College is one of the colleges that make up the world famous Oxford University.
It is situated in St. Aldate`s Street.
Pembroke College was founded in 1624, with money provided by an Oxfordshire maltster and a Shropshire clergyman.
The Old Quad has intimate 17th century ranges, while the interior of the chapel contains work by C. E. Kempe.
Dr. Johnson was briefly a student here.
