Corpus Christi is one of the smallest colleges in Oxford. It was founded in 1517 by Richard Foxe, Bishop of Winchester.
The Front Quad, on Merton Street, was built on the site of five old halls.
The library still retains 310 of the 371 books that were catalogued during the reign of Elizabeth I.
