Dragon Hall (Norwich)
Dragon Hall is a very historic building in Norwich.
It is situated in King Street.
The hall was built, in the Middle Ages, on the foundations of an Anglo-Saxon house, and in due course became a cloth merchant`s hall, belonging to Robert Toppes, who became Mayor of Norwich in 1430 at the age of 25.
At one end is an undercroft, with the Anglo-Saxon post-holes displayed.
On the upper floor is a seven bay Great Hall.
