St. Ann`s is a City Centre church in Manchester.
It is in the central area, close to Deansgate and Market Street, beside the statue of Richard Cobden.
The church was founded by Lady Ann Bland in 1709, in a part of Manchester that was then on the outskirts of the town.
It is an elegant church in the Baroque style, created by John Barker, a Derbyshire architect, with the addition of a new chancel by Alfred Waterhouse in 1887.
