Holy Name of Jesus Church (Manchester)

The Holy Name of Jesus is a Catholic church in the Moss Side district of Manchester.

It is situated in Oxford Road.

The church was designed by Joseph Aloysius Hansom for the Jesuits in 1869, with a massive West Front and a top stage added by Adrian Gilbert Scott in 1928 - 32.

The interior is full of beauty, and includes a pulpit decorated in mosaic with English Catholic martyrs, including Thomas More.
