Heaton Park (Manchester)

Heaton Park is a regional historic park at Manchester.

The park has been owned by Manchester City Council since 1902, and covers 640 acres nestling in the foothills of the Pennines.

There are eight listed structures within the park, including Heaton Hall, whose architect was James Wyatt. The Dower House is now home to Manchester Beekeepers.

In the Farm Centre there are alpacas, goats, shep, pigs and cows, as well as donkeys giving rides.

There is a Transport Museum with working trams.
