Sutton House (London)
Sutton House is a historic building in the Hackney district of North London.
It is situated in Homerton High Street, at the corner of Isabella Road.
Sutton House is a Tudor red brick house, built in 1535 by Sir Ralph Sadleir, who was Principal Secretary of State to Henry VIII. There are 18th century additions.
The house contains fine examples of original linenfold panelling and wall paintings from the 17th century.
