St. Augustine Kensington (London)
St. Augustine Kensington is an interesting Victorian church in the Kensington district of West London.
It is situated in Queens Gate, Brompton Road.
St. Augustine is a Victorian Gothic church, whose architect was William Butterfield, and which opened in 1871.
There is an elaborately decorated nave, and an even more elaborately decorated chancel, with a gilded reredos in the Baroque style, which Martin Travers added in 1928.
