Sir John Soane`s Museum is a fascinating house in London.
It is situated on the street that runs beside Lincoln`s Inn Fields.
Sir John Soane was an outstanding architect of the early 19th century, who designed among other buildings the Bank of England.
He lived in this house, which had been built to his own designs.
It is now open to the public, and houses his own extraordinary collection of pictures, architectural designs, sculptures and antiquities, in highly unusual forms of display which he had himself designed.
