Madame Tussauds (London)
Madame Tussauds is one of the many very popular tourist attractions in London.
It is situated in Marylebone Road, near Baker Street Underground station.
Madame Tussauds is probably the world`s most famous waxworks, with the likenesses of many famous people from all walks of life.
Perhaps the most famous aspect is the Chamber of Horrors, including waxworks of some of the most notorious murderers.
It is kept up to date, by including today`s most famous people, such as film stars, rock singers and footballers.
Madame Tussaud left Paris for England at the time of the French Revolution. She had previously made death masks of some of the victims of this terrifying period of French history.
