Horniman Museum Gardens (London)
The Horniman Museum Gardens form a small park in London.
The entrance is in London Road in Forest Hill.
Frederick John Horniman, a Victorian tea trader, started to collect specimens and artefacts from around the world in the 1860s, and allowed the public to view the collection at his private house, which soon became inadequate.
So he commissioned the building of the Horniman Museum, which he gave to the people of London in 1901.
The lovely gardens provide breathtaking views across London.
