Handel House Museum (London)
Handel House Museum is a fascinating and beautifully restored town house with musical associations in London.
It is situated in Brook Street in Mayfair.
The composer George Frederick Handel lived in the house for 36 years from 1723, while composing parts of "The Messiah" and "Zadok the Priest". He died in the house.
On the walls are portraits of Handel and his contemporaries, and there are regular recitals.
The house next door was for a while the home of Jimi Hendrix.
