Crossness Beam Engine House (London)

Crossness Beam Engine House is an interesting building in London.

It is situated in Belvedere Road, in SE2.

Opened in 1865, it is a Grade I listed beam engine house designed by Joseph Bazalgette, who transformed the London sewer system.

The building is designed in the Romanesque style and contains four original beam engines by James Watt and Co.
