Brunel Engine House (London)
The Brunel Engine House is a historic building in London.
It is situated in Railway Avenue in Rotherhithe.
The engine house was Isambard Kingdom Brunel`s first project with his father Marc Brunel, and was part of the Thames Tunnel.
The tunnel was used as a banqueting hall, as a shopping arcade and as an underwater fairground.
It is now the oldest tunnel in the oldest underground system in the world.
