Happy Valley (Llandudno)
Happy Valley is a historic park at Llandudno in North Wales.
Covering 10 acres, it is set on the dramatic limestone peninsula known as the Great Orme, and was dedicated to the town by Lord Mostyn in 1887, to celebrate Queen Victoria`s Golden Jubilee.
The gardens contain a sculpture rail, unusual trees and a putting green.
Also within the park is Pen y Dinas, the site of an Iron Age fort, with the remains of over fifty hut circles.
The Alpine Cabin Lift to the Great Orme summit, built in 1969, is the longest cabin lift in Britain, being over a mile between the stations.
