Snowdon Mountain Railway (Llanberis)
Snowdon Mountain Railway is a narrow gauge rack and pinion railway which climbs virtually to the summit of Mount Snowdon.
The terminus is in the small town of Llanberis, opposite the Royal Victoria Hotel, whose management were responsible in 1896 for the creation of the railway.
There are several stations, and the ride affords fantastic views across Snowdonia and even to the sea.
