Roscoe Memorial Garden (Liverpool)
The Roscoe Memorial Garden is a delightful feature in the heart of the city of Liverpool.
Situated in Mount Pleasant, it is downhill from the outstanding Liverpool Cathedral (Catholic).
William Roscoe was a Liverpool man who was a well known social reformer, and he also wrote the famous "Butterfly Ball".
He was a member of the congregation of the Unitarian chapel which formerly stood on the site.
There is also a memorial to Joseph Blanco White, Spanish priest, political exile and poet.
