Liver Building (Liverpool)
The Liver Building is one of the best known buildings in Liverpool, being one of the Three Graces along the fabulous watrfront.
It was built as the head office of the Royal Liver Friendly Society and designed by Aubrey Thomas, as one of Britain`s earliest multi-storey reinforced concrete framed buildings.
The clock towers are mounted with Liver Birds, made of copper. These mythical birds are one of the most potent symbols of Liverpool.
