Lincoln Arboretum and Temple Gardens (Lincoln)

Lincoln Arboretum and Temple Gardens are traditional Victorian gardens in Lincoln.

The main entrance is in Monks Road.

Lincoln`s premier park, the arboretum and gardens were originally designed by landscape architect Edward Milner. The plans were approved in 1870 and the park was opened in 1872.

There are lawns, flower beds, an ornate bandstand, lake, ornamental fountains and a stone lion.

A small area of garden was added in 1953 to commemorate the Queen`s coronation.
