Ellis` Mill (Lincoln)

Ellis` Mill is a windmill in the historic cathedral city of Lincoln.

It can be seen, along with Lincoln Cathedral, for miles, being set on the prominent ridge on which the city stands.

Ellis` Mill is a tower mill, and was built in 1798, although there has been a mill on the site since 1241.

It is the last working windmill in Leicester, and the only survivor of nine that once stood on the ridge.

The mill`s own flour can be bought on site.
