St. Mary`s Church (Leyton)

St. Mary`s Church is the parish church of Leyton, in the part of Greater London that was once Essex.

It has a red brick West tower, built in the mid 17th century, and part of a wall is also from this date.

On top of the tower is an 18th century clock turret.

Most of the church is 19th century, having been rebuilt in 1832, and altered in 1889 and again in 1932.

There is a fine collection of monuments.
