Public Library, Evington (Leicester)
The Public Library at Evington is a modern building set behind a grassy slope in the old village of Evington, which is now a suburb of Leicester.
It is situated on the corner, where The Common and Evington Lane come together to form Main Street.
On the other side of The Common is the attractive Evington Park, with the 18th century Evington Hall and fine views across the city.
On the site of the Library was once a smallholding.
The Library is used as the starting point for Blue Badge Guide Colin Crosby's Guided Walks around Evington.
