Cliffe Castle (Keighley)
Cliffe Castle is a historic house at Keighley.
It belonged to the Butterfield family, who were owners of three woollen mills. One of the owners, on inheriting, spent a fortune in the 1880s on redecorating and embellishing the house in the Parisian style.
Cliffe Castle is now partly a natural history museum, and partly a display of opulence.
