Arctic Penguin Maritime Heritage Centre (Inveraray)

The Arctic Penguin Maritime Heritage Centre is a fascinating attraction at the small town of Inveraray in Scotland.

It is situated at The Pier.

The centre is housed in the "Arctic Penguin", built in 1912, which saw service as a lightship. Visitors can see the engine room and the captain`s cabin.

Among the exhibits are displays dealing with the Highland clearances, and archive film of shipping on the River Clyde.
