Old Quay Head (Ilfracombe)

The Old Quay Head is a historic feature of Ilfracombe, on the North Devon coast.

The quay was originally built by William Bourchier, Lord Fitzwarren, in the early 16th century. It was paved with stone during the 18th century, and further extended in the 19th century.

A commemorative stone plaque at the Southern end marks the extension.

The quay separates the inner harbour from the outer harbour.
