Landmark Theatre (Ilfracombe)

The Landmark Theatre is a striking building by the harbour at IIlfracombe.

It was built in 1997, replacing the Victoria Pavilion Theatre. This had been built in 1925, but damaged in a storm in 1990.

Consisting of two conical structures, a design based on glassmaking kilns, it was created by Tim Ronalds Architects, using in excess of 300,000 bricks of German clay fired in Belgium.

There are two performance spaces, one of which has a flat floor.
