Hounslow West Station (Hounslow)
Hounslow West Station is one of three Underground stations serving Hounslow in West London.
The others are Hounslow East Station and Hounslow Central Station Station, and there is also an Overground station named Hounslow Station.
Hounslow West is on the Piccadilly Line, but was originally on the District Line when opened in 1903 as Hounslow Barracks.
It was the Western terminus until the extension to Heathrow Airport was opened in 1977.
Trains run direct from here into Central London and to Heathrow Airport.
