St. Andrew`s Church (Hornchurch)
St. Andrew`s Church is the parish church of Hornchurch in the part of Greater London that was once Essex.
It is the "horned church" of the town`s name. Uniquely, it has the horned head of a bull at the East end instead of the normal Cross.
St. Andrew`s is a large church and dates back to the 13th century. It has a large West tower.
The chancel, an arcade and the sedilia all date from the 13th century. It also has a squint.
There are some good memorials.
