Moot Hall (Hexham)
The Moot Hall is one of the historic buildings in Hexham.
It is situated in the Market Place.
With a grim look, the strong Moot Hall was built around 1400, and was used as a home, office and court for the Archbishop of York`s bailiff, who administered Hexhamshire from here.
Today, there is an art gallery on the ground floor, council offices on the first floor and a community hall on the second floor.
