Hexham Station (Hexham)
Hexham Station serves the historic market town of Hexham in Northumberland.
It lies at the bottom of the hill on which the town sits, and is just a short walk from the town centre.
It is on a scenic line which comes from Newcastle-on-Tyne by way of Corbridge, and continues via Haltwhistle to Carlisle.
A branch line which closed in the 1960s formerly ran to Reedsmouth, where it divided, one part going to Riccarton Junction and the other to Morpeth.
There was another branch which went to Allendale. This closed in 1930.
