Mappa Mundi Exhibition (Hereford)
The Mappa Mundi Exhibition is a feature of the ancient city of Hereford.
It is situated at Hereford Cathedral.
The Mappa Mundi is a spectacular mediaeval map of the world. It was created on vellum, dates from the 13th century, and has Jerusalem at its centre.
The exhibition also features the cathedral`s unique Chained Library, the largest in the world. It contains around 1600 books, many of which are a thousand years old.
