Edward Elgar Statue (Hereford)
The Edward Elgar Statue is a much loved feature of the ancient cathedral city of Hereford.
Elgar, one of England's finest composers, was born at Lower Broadheath in Worcestershire and spent most of his life in the West Midlands.
The statue can be found on the grassy Cathedral Close, and is of the composer with his trusty bicycle, which he named Mr Phoebus.
There is another Elgar statue at Worcester.
