St. Michael and All Angels Church (Haworth)

St. Michael and All Angels is the parish church of the moorland village of Haworth in Yorkshire.

The tower is mediaeval, and would therefore have been known to the Bronte sisters, whose father was the parson. But the rest of the church was replaced in 1880.

In the nave is a stained glass window in memory of Charlotte Bronte, given by Thomas Hockley from America.

The Bronte memorial chapel was dedicated in 1964. In the vault below, the family are buried, except Ann, who is buried at Scarborough.
