Haworth Station (Haworth)

Haworth Station is the railway station that serves the little town of Haworth in Yorkshire, much visited for its associations with the Bronte family.

The station is situated at the bottom of the steep hill which leads up into the town.

It is on the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, a very popular steam line.

The railway runs from Keighley through Oakworth to Haworth, and then on to Oxenhope.

It was on this railway that much of "The Railway Children", directed by Lionel Jeffries, was filmed in the 1970s.
