Wireless Museum (Harwich)

The Wireless Museum is one of the fascinating attractions in the old Essex seaport of Harwich.

This privately run museum is housed in the former High Lighthouse, which was designed by John Rennie. He also designed the Low Lighthouse, which now houses the Maritime Museum. The two lighthouses worked as a pair. Aligning the two from the sea would ensure a safe passage into the harbour.

The museum features the history of wireless, as radio was formerly known.
