Queen`s House (Greenwich)
The Queen`s House is one of the splendid collection of historic buildings at Greenwich.
It is now part of the National Maritime Museum complex.
The Queen`s House was designed by the great Inigo Jones in 1635, and was the house which introduced the Palladian style to England.
Henrietta Maria called it a House of Delights, and it was used for court entertainments and grand balls.
The Great Hall, Orangery and Tulip Stairs are used for occasional exhibitions and displays of contemporary art.
