Fort Brockhurst (Gosport)
Fort Brockhurst is a historic building at Gosport in Hampshire.
It is situated in Gunner`s Way, on the North side of the town towards Fareham.
Fort Brockhurst is one of the many establishments built to protect Portsmouth and its Harbour. It was built in the 19th century.
Today, it houses an extraordinary collection of objects found within a few miles, including stonework, jewellery, textiles and furniture from a variety of periods.
Fort Brockhurst is now in the care of English Heritage.
