Guildhall (Finchingfield)

The Guildhall is one of the buildings that make up the hugely picturesque village of Finchingfield in Essex.

It is a long white timber framed cottage, formerly used as a Guildhall, which stands in one of the pretty streets. It was built about 1500.

An archway in the building leads through into the churchyard of St. Johns Church.

Today, the Guildhall houses a museum of local history.
