Well Hall Pleasaunce (Eltham)
Well Hall Pleasaunce is a public park at Eltham in South London.
The main entrance is in Well Hall Road.
It comprises 11 acres of landscaped gardens containing many historic features, including the Tudor barn, built in 1568, and a moat. They are surviving structures of Well Hall, built for Margaret Roper, daughter of Sir Thomas More.
E. Nesbit, the author of children`s stories, was another former resident.
