Dover Town Hall (Dover)
Dover Town Hall is a complex of buildings from the historic past of Dover.
It incorporates the remains of a mediaeval hospital, 14th century chapel tower, 19th century prison, town hall and assembly rooms.
The Maison Dieu Hall was built about 1325, and was part of a hospital founded by Hubert de Burgh in the early 14th century.
On most of the hospital site, the Town Hall was built in 1881 by William Burges.
