St. Peter and St. Paul Church (Cromer)
St. Peter and St. Paul Church is the parish church of the seaside town of Cromer in Norfolk.
It is without doubt the dominant building in the town, the splendid tower rising to 160 feet, the tallest in the county.
The church was ruinous when Cromer began to develop as a resort in the mid 19th century, and clearly something had to be done. Accordingly, Arthur Blomfield rebuilt the nave and replaced the demolished chancel beteween 1887 and 1889.
The East window in the South aisle is by Edward Burne-Jones, and there are modern memorials in glass to some of Cromer`s maritime characters.
