Holy Trinity Church (Coventry)

Holy Trinity is one of the interesting old churches in the historic city of Coventry.

It stands immediately to the West of Coventry Cathedral, where the ruins of the old cathedral building stand in stark contrast to Sir Basil Spence's magnificent postwar replacement.

Holy Trinity's splendid spire rises to 237 feet, but is not as tall as that of the old cathedral.

Parts of the sandstone walls retain the scorchmarks from the Blitz in 1940.

Holy Trinity has a superb Doom painting on the wall above the chancel arch. This has been recently restored, and can now be seen in all its glory.
