Marwell Zoo (Colden Common)
Marwell Zoo is one of the most popular zoos in the South of England, and can be found at Colden Common in Hampshire.
The zoo has a fine worldwide reputation, both for conservation and for the breeding of rare and endangered species.
It is set in 100 acres of parkland, and houses over a thousand birds and animals, representing 250 species. The animals can be seen in large enclosures and paddocks.
Attractions within the zoo include Tropical World, World of Lemurs, Penguin World, Heart of Africa and Giraffe Walkway.
There is a narrow gauge railway running around the zoo.
