All Saints Church (Colchester)
All Saints Church is one of the redundant churches in the ancient town of Colchester which have been put to good use.
It is situated in the High Street, opposite the gates to Colchester Castle.
Originally a Norman church, it was substantially rebuilt during the 19th century.
All Saints now serves as an excellent Natural History Museum. Among the exhibits are dioramas depicting various forms of wildlife found in this part of Essex, including one showing the development of salt marshes.
