St. Mary`s Church (Clipsham)
St. Mary`s is the parish church of the pretty Rutland village of Clipsham.
There are Norman arcades, while the tower, which has a broach spire, was started in the 13th century.
St. Mary`s has a Norman piscina as well as a Norman font.
The wooden reredos was designed by J. Richardson of nearby Stamford, and features the Transfiguration, Last Supper and Ascension, with side panels of saints.
