St. James` Church (Clacton)

St. James` Church is the parish church of the Essex seaside resort of Clacton.

Situated in Tower Road, it was built in 1913 by Temple Moore, to serve the burgeoning seaside town.

The design of the church is interesting, with a fairly functional exterior, but a much lighter interior.

The nave arcade has pointed arches, while the chancel has galleries and a clerestory.
